Pousada Vila Pitanga is located in the João Vieira neighborhood, a charming and peaceful residential area of Trancoso, perfect for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature. The streets are dirt roads, surrounded by greenery, with the singing of birds, the sounds of monkeys, and the colorful butterflies — a typical scene of Trancoso's vibrant nature. Our street, in particular, is quiet and safe, with low car traffic and five exclusive parking spaces right in front of the inn, always available for our guests. The neighborhood also has private security, providing even more comfort and peace during your stay. Even while being in a calm and residential environment, we are just 900 meters from the Quadrado, the heart of Trancoso — a completely flat route, which can be walked along shaded and pleasant paths.
João Vieira is a neighborhood that is growing harmoniously, with some new inns and homes of local residents, still maintaining its authentic and welcoming atmosphere, away from the intense tourist activity, but close to everything that Trancoso has to offer at its best.
